Brief

NSW Department of Industry seeks to position New South Wales as the prime destination for foreign businesses looking to build an APAC HQ. Existing collateral was dated and didn’t speak of the state’s strong value proposition as Australia’s financial and business capital featuring a dynamic and agile commercial eco-system.

I was tasked with approaching  some of the world’s biggest tech, finance and business companies that were making their mark known from NSW, and telling their stories via an omni-channel approach. Airbnb was 1 company out of 12 total companies I was working with to deliver case study collateral.

Approach

  • Worked with internal stakeholders to pinpoint NSW success stories and made approaches
  • Briefed external company stakeholders (Corporate Affairs Manager APAC and Country Manager) explaining project summary, KPIs, outcome and shared benefit proposition
  • Procured vendors and briefed deliverables, budget and technical expectations
  • Hired Project Assistant to oversee day-to-day administration and campaign management
  • Oversaw written content execution
  • Project managed vendors, budgets, interviews, photo and video shoots, graphic design version control
  • Socialised end outcomes to external company stakeholders and internal executives for approval
  • Integrated into information architecture of new Invest NSW website
  • Collaborated with Social Media Manager and Digital Publishing Manager for uploads, tagging and campaign launch

Achievements

All collateral pieces delivered and approved, on time and on budget in anticipation for campaign launch in late 2019.
